Moving toward something bigger than myself.

Marriage Relationship-Builder

Welcome. I write for church leaders on topics like strategy and communication. Since this is your first visit, don't forget to subscribe to my RSS feed.

Erica teased me about blogging for months. She teased about how excited I got about good comments. She teased about how bummed I’d get on bad traffic days. She teased about how much thought I’d put into posts sometimes. She teased about almost everything involving the art of blogging. Yes, art.

Now she has her own blog. Now she loves blogging. Now she reads other people’s blogs. Now she gets excited about good comments. Now she gets teased about blogging.

Now she and I have one more thing in common and we love it.

Erica and I are a match made in heaven (literally God-ordained). Before blogging we a were perfect compliment for each other. She’s usually quiet and I’m a little more boisterous. She’s a dare-devil and I’m a pansy. She’s hot-tempered and I’m contemplative (usually). We’re awesome together.

But when we started blogging together, it just meant one more thing we could share. It became one more thing that we both enjoyed. It became one more tie that helps us bind.

If you haven’t seen this video, you should definitely watch it. Erica’s a doll.

What unexpected activity has brought you and your life-love closer?
