I’m Back [and with a new direction]
Welcome. I write for church leaders on topics like strategy and communication. Since this is your first visit, don't forget to subscribe to my RSS feed.
You might have noticed that I haven’t been blogging lately. There are oodles of reasons for my blogging hiatus over the last few weeks, but the root of it all is that blogging has lost its luster. I’m talking about the kind of blogging I’ve been doing over the past six months.
So, this post marks the return to my original blogging style: personal narrative. If you visit my blog (feed readers), you’ll see some changes. A less techie layout, no more Twitter feed, and my blogroll has returned. If you’re a friend and you’re not in the blogroll, let me know and I’ll throw your link in there.
In the future, ReadScott.com will be for family and friends. Of course, I’ll throw in a few tech articles here and there, but the vast majority of the posts heretofore will be personal in nature. If this isn’t what you’re interested in, now would be a good time to unsubscribe.
For those of you who are still with me (Erica, Debbie, Krista, Justin Stricklan, mom, etc), it’s good to be back to the good ol’ days.

I try to refocus every so often on my blog too and, when I do more of what I am excited about and not what I think should be blogged about, it always turns out better for me.
Ha ha…good for you! Now THOSE are the kind of blog posts I enjoy reading.

Interesting change bro! Good to see you returning to your roots and what you like. I agree that blogging has lost its luster a bit… but I’m in there for the long haul so we’ll see what happens.
I do consider you a friend but I don’t have to be in the blogroll.
