On the other side of this coin lies companies like [...]

sweet app update.

i’ve been using bloglines for a while now to keep up with various rss feeds. i liked it pretty good, but then i realized that there’s got to be a way to get the same thing without having to go through a browser. there is.
check out NewsLife. I like it.

so much to write about.

i’ve got a ton to say today, but i won’t say it all for your sake. that would take forever and i know you endured a long post last time.
first, i spent a little while at the apple store today after church. it’s nice to browse around all the beautiful hardware and mess with some [...]

disappointed with apple.

go to apple’s website. take a look at the counter on the front page. it looks like it should be clicking down like an old-school clock. nope. it just changes completely un-old-school-like. with all of apple’s design skills at their disposal, you’d think they could find a decent count down clock that looked better than [...]

squidoo

i started a squidoo page yesterday. it’s not finished, but it’s a start. check it out here.

the upside? it’s about $1600 cheaper than photoshop. nice!

iWork ‘08: first take

i downloaded the trial version of iWork this evening after watching the superbly entertaining movie, the bourne ultimatum. it took a little while, even with my super-fast 6MB/second cable connection. but, let me tell you, it was worth the wait!
although i think numbers adds one more thing on the way to apple doing what microsoft [...]

the future of iLife

so, i’ve been doing some research lately about the possibility of apple releasing an ‘07 version of their iLife suite. (for those of you who don’t know what iLife is…it’s a grouping of applications that come with new macs or is available for purchase for older macs.)
the reason for having to research it at all [...]
